Finale
Houseguests: Ivette Corredero, James Rhine
Ivette and James R. both made it to the end. Both were fans and both had the chance to join Laura, Jen, David, and Natalie in the winner's circle. They went straight into their opening statements.
James R.: Hello everybody! I'm pretty excited to be in this position, and I'm also glad a fan will win this game.
What makes my gameplay deserving for a win? I can say I have been an active participant throughout the entirety of this game. Every vote I have casted has been the houseguest to leave, and every time I was nominated, I never received any eviction votes casted against me. I won 3 HoH competitions and 1 PoV. I also had Ivette remove me from the block with her PoV, necessary for my survival.
The biggest turning point in my gameplay was when I decided to evict Alex. From that point on, I was set on getting rid of people I viewed as stronger. There's a reason why Brian, Ivette, Chelsia, and I made the final four, and that is Brian was my closest ally and we kept Ivette and Chelsia because we thought they would be the easiest to get out later. GUESS WE WERE WRONG!
But at the end of the day, I can only speak for myself, and I am very proud of the game I played. Any questions, give my way, and I promise I'll give an honest answer (I find the q & a section of the game to be important to be honest in, both for the answerer and the questioner). I can't say I was honest the entire game, because I wasn't. But I will be honest in my responses.
Ivette: Hey guys! I wanna thank you all for the great game. It's been a blast and somewhat of a new experience for me as I haven't played with almost all of you. I'm happy to be sitting next to James as we are both fans and James/Ivette are two of my favourite houseguests so it's kinda sweet
I think I played a pretty clean, loyal game. I never lied and I was always upfront with people. If I made a deal with you, I kept it if you were loyal to me. I also won my fair share of competitions as you can see I earnt my way to the finals. Once Rachel was evicted, I thought I was screwed and like, kinda caught on to the fact that Brian, Will, James had an alliance. I figured they kept me around because they thought I was easier to beat which James confirms in his opening statement. They obviously underestimated me which was a mistake for them as I am a strong competitor. I know I was borderline inactive for a period of time but that's because I was on vacation for 2-3 weeks and I still kept in contact with a few of you guys during that time. I think me being away helped my game, lol, as people preceived me as weak and were willing to keep me around.
The week Chelsia won HoH, I messaged her and we made a F2. She kept me safe but then I won the PoV that secured my safety for that round. I took James off the block initially because I wanted Brian to leave as I thought Will was closer to both Brian and James. And the fact that I had more of a relationship with James and Will than I did with Brian. I did change my mind because Will did seem more of a threat and at the time I thought it was a better move for me as I was making deals with Brian and James. I didn't really think they were real (my deals with Brian/James) but it did help me out (I assume) the next week when Brian kept me over Chelsia.
In conclusion; I made the right deals and worked my way to the end. I believe I am worthy of the win because I got myself here, played a clean game and was somewhat of a underdog If you got any questions, ask way!
It was now time for jurors to ask questions and first up was James Z.
James Z.: Choose four all-stars from both sides of the cast. 2 Fans and 2 Favorites. Do not choose either of you. I also want to know why, so don't bullshit with me.
James R.: Rachel: I view her as an underdog, and she fought every week since her reign as HoH. She killed many competitions, and she was loyal. She just should've never went after me
Britney: Though I do think now Britney is getting faker and faker and is becoming more influenced by Janelle and Jordan. But when she was herself the first couple of weeks, I forgot she was a fan.
Janelle: I want to see why she's always evicted before everyone else in her alliance. She clearly has the biggest target and I think it would be interesting for her to try and make it farther (which might include changing her strategy).
Chima: I felt she was running the house when she left. I'm very sorry for her, and I think she, if she's interested, should get another chance.
Ivette: Rachel - She played a good all round game. She was social, competitive and loyal.
Michael - I think he was more behind the scenes. He left too early but I think he would of had a huge chance to make it to the end if he survived that eviction.
Brian - I found Brian quite charming lol But I think he's an allstar because he was in a power alliance, managed to make f3 & was just a really strong player.
Will - Like Brian; he was in the power alliance, social & competitive.
----------
Next to ask a question was Brian.
Brian: My first question/s is/are for Ivette. Who did you have an alliance with? Did your alliances change throughout the game? I feel like you played a very under the radar game and were definitely underestimated but do you feel like two weeks of game play outweighs the rest of the game??
Ivette: Well throughout the game my main loyalties were to Rachel, Michael, Nathan & Will (because he was my partner). I also recall having somewhat deals with; Britney, Chima, Chelsia and you/James if you consider those alliances.
I did play under the radar and it worked out for me. If I showed what kind of threat that I am early in the game, I doubt you guys would of kept me when I wasn't able to be around due to being on vacation. Even though it was unintentional I do believe those two weeks of gameplay outweighs the rest of the game. It's not like I did nothing at the start because I do recall winning HoH with Will, having a public argument with Janelle, surviving eviction with James against Michele/Nathan and keeping up with those who I had an alliance with.
So while I was very utr, I stepped up my game once I came back from my vacation and was the underdog coming into the final 5. I worked my way to the finals and proved that I deserve to be in the game. I won competitions (final 5 pov, final 3 part 1/3) and made moves (voting out will because it benefited me) / deals (chels, james, brian) that ultimately got me here. I wasn't that type of player who got dragged to the final 2 because they did nothing.
In the end it's up to you whether you think that it does. It would be nice if you do vote for me but if you don't; it's all good my friend
----------
Will was the next juror to question the Final 2.
Will: James, If it had been you, me and Brian in the F3, who would you have taken and why? What reason could you possibly give me to justify turning your back on me and sacrificing our alliance to align with Ivette (e.g. giving up your vote and just voting however Ivette voted.)
James R.: Will, I love you. You yourself said you would vote me out over Brian had Ivette not used the veto on me. I just didn't feel that security from you as much as I did from Brian. And when two of my own alliance members are on the block (e.g. you and Brian), it's a lose-lose situation regardless. I was in the unfortunate position of picking between two people I care about.
I did push for Brian to stay though. I've had a final 2 deal with him since the beginning of the game. I sent a PM to Ivette telling her I thought it was in her best interest to vote you out, considering she just backdoored her own partner, and you would have every right to be pissed off and go after her next. She agreed, and that's why the decision was unanimous to vote you out
----------
Vegas was ready to have the Final 2 answer to her.
Rachel: Why does the other person sitting next to you ABSOLUTELY suck? (be harsh please.)
James R.: Why Ivette sucks: FLOATER! She's an ideal person to be sitting next to in the final 2. I'm Natalie, she's Ronnie (from bbrecycledallstars). The only reason she survived was because of how less she put into the game than others. She got so lucky Brian was manipulated by Chima into voting out Michele and Nathan over Ivette and James Z. It was only then that Brian convinced me to vote out Michele and Nathan, making the vote 3-1, rather than 2-2 where Alex and Jordan would've voted out Ivette and James (I know this as Alex and I were close). So as much as she helped me get in the final 2, I'm the reason why her picture was still in color after she returned from her vacation.
Ivette: I think James sucks because he was liar, sneaky, shady and a backstabber. He told unnecessary lies and seems like a dick since he went out of his way to do so in such situations as the week that you left. Also he sucks because he wasn't in control all the time and had to be saved twice by me. That's all I got I don't like being TOO harsh!!
And just to comment on his thing... Chima manipulated Brian because I was close to Michael and made a deal with Chima. So it's not like I randomly got lucky cuz I campaigned for that
I think I'm doing alright at answering the questions. Do I believe everything I'm saying? Not exactly lmao but I do want to try and win. If I lose, it's all good. James played a great game and him winning would be sweet
It was now Michael's turn.
Michael: Ivette-What game changing move did you make that you think helped you go all the way to the end?
James-Why do you think I should vote for you over Ivette?
Ivette: I think voting Will out at the F5 was what helped me get to the end. Will was the biggest threat out of the remaining players and if I kept him that round, I do think he had a good chance to win Part 1 or 3. If that were to happen, I obviously would not be sitting here. So despite being partners and all, taking him out was the better move for me. It also allowed me to make deals with the remaining players to secure safety if I wasn't in power.
James R.: I mean, unless you have some duty to Ivette, I think it's clear why you should vote for me over her. Notice how most of her responses only apply to the last few weeks of the game. I could tell you everything, in detail, of what moves I made week 1, week 2, week 3~ all the way up to where I'm sitting now. Of course Ivette got to be more honest than me. She was barely here to make moves otherwise! I've played hard from beginning to end, and I just can't say I see the same from Ivette.
----------
Sharon had a fun question for Ivette and James R.
Sharon: Compare each jury member to a Harry Potter character and give reasons. If you don't watch read Harry Potter make it up
Ivette: Will - Harry ~ Harry is the main character. Will was the biggest threat and overall the best competitor. Will had an alliance with Brian (Harry and Ron are friendsss) and had some troublez with Malfoy (James Z would always freak on Will).
Brian - Ron ~ Ron is like the second main character or something like that. Brian was second best like Ron is to Harry. Ron is likeable and a ginger. But I don't think Brian is a ginger
Rachel - Hermione ~ Hermione is one of the main characters so it is fitting that Rachel is Hermione because she is the stand out female houseguest. Plus Hermione is good at spells such as Rachel is with competitions AND Hermione had a thing with Ron (Rachel/Brian being partners) and Harry (Rachel told me she would communicate with Will).
Michael - Voldemort ~ Michael wasn't evil like him D: but Michael was the one who actually had potential to cause damage to Will (Harry), Brian (Ron) and James alliance... like Voldemort tried to kill Harry or something.
Chelsia - Ginny ~ because they're both nice and I guess Ginny is not that noticeable at the beginning but slowly starts appearing more like Chels.
Sharon - Myrtle ~ because you like to flirt with boys in the toilet JK I'd say you were Fred because you have a twin brother George (James). Judging by your questions you had loyalty to James like the brothers obviously have their bond. Plus you guys are related to Ron (Brian) and friends with Harry (Will).
James Z - Malfoy ~ the bad boy. James Z totally causes trouble for people in the game like Malfoy did to Harry and friends.
David - Neville ~ I guess someone who was just there. He's in Harry Potter but doesn't have a main part and that's how I feel David was like. Plus both are nice
Big Brother is Dumbledore, jsyk.
James R.: Brian- Ron, my right hand man
Chelsia- Harmoine, very studious and speaks to a select few
Will- that Hat that chooses the house for the wizards, I see will as a wise man.
Rachel- That female principal, strict, erect, and real.
David- The old dean of the school, I view David as someone very experienced and knowledged in this game.
Michael- Hagrid, very loveable, but don't mess with him
Sharon- Harry's mother, so nice and sweet, a protector (of me, Harry Potter )
James Z- Harry's step-brother haha You can't wait to get away from him
----------
Chelsia was the final juror to speak.
Chelsia: Is there anything you could have done differently that would have made what you'd consider to be your perfect F4?
James R.: My perfect final four would have been me, Will, Brian, + either you or Ivette. The only way this could have happened was if Will or I became HoH in the final 5 (since Brian was outgoing HoH). You made a change in those plans by becoming the final 5 HoH, ultimately ending up with Will's eviction. I think Will's eviction helped my personal gameplay, but my loyalty to both Will and Brian made me want to keep them both until the final 3. Our error in judgment was underestimating both you and Ivette (as you won HoH in the final 5 and Ivette won veto), but in the end, I think having me, you, Brian, and Ivette in the final 4 helped my gameplay and helped me go into the final 2.
Ivette: I'm not really sure because my perfect F4 would of been me, Michael, Rachel & Will. By the time I got back, Michael was evicted and we were at the F6.
I guess not going on my vacation could of changed the outcome, lol. I say that because I wasn't able to be around due to limited access and missed out on a few competitions. I was away between Week 7 - Week 10 which were important weeks. If I was around I would of convinced Rachel to keep Michael (Week 9). Obviously that was a mistake on Rachel's part and if Michael survived that round, we (me/Rachel/Michael) very well could of taken control of the game.
It was now time for the crowning of the winner. The Final 2 gave their pleas, the jurors voted, and the votes were tallied. In the end, James R. proved to be the better player and won the game by a vote of 4-3 receiving Brian, Chelsia, David, and Sharon's votes.
